Dog Gets Surprised with 100 Tennis Balls – Best Day Ever!

Ever since I was just a young pup, I’ve dreamed of becoming a tennis champion. There’s just something about the soft yellow fur of tennis balls, and the way they bounce. The way my teeth sink into them, and how they’re the perfect shape for my mouth…

I’m telling ya, there’s nothing on earth quite like a tennis ball.

Just you wait until I tell you about the AMAZING gift Mom and Dad brought home for me. You’re not going to believe this.

It was just an ordinary Tuesday, and out of nowhere, Mom sets down this giant red box. I thought I faintly sniffed the sweet scent of fresh tennis ball, but you can never be sure, so I stepped closer to inspect.

The lid was loose, so I did what any self-respecting doggo would do and lifted it with my nose.

WAIT UNTIL YOU FIND OUT WHAT MOM AND DAD GOT ME.

Yep. A giant bag of tennis balls.

Dreams do come true.

Mom and Dad are making all these happy noises and saying Merry Christmas, but I tell you, for a moment I couldn’t believe my eyes. They must REALLY love me to get me such a great present. I was so overwhelmed that I had to step back for a minute just to take it all in.

All these glorious tennis balls just for me?! Can I see?

Dad is taking SO long to open the bag. I want to help but heck, my heart is just so happy right now. My brain doesn’t know what to do.

After what feels like an eternity, Dad finally gets the bag open. OH BOY am I going to lose my mind trying to catch all these balls. With practice like this, I’ll be a tennis champion in no time.

I ask Dad to throw my new toys down the stairs so they can get a head start. I’m a good sportsman, and it’s only fair. Once they’re out of their bag though, it’s GAME ON.

Dad tips the bag, and they start to make an avalanche down the stairs.

THIS IS THE HAPPIEST DAY OF MY LIFE.

WOW, I still can’t believe all these balls are mine. I’m so happy to finally be able to show Mom and Dad my mad skills. I’m going to catch ALL the balls and take them back up the stairs. No tennis ball is a match for me.

Um…although, now that I look at it like this, there are an awful lot of them. It’s like yellow heaven down here. Maybe I’ll just appreciate them for a bit and THEN take them back upstairs.
