I’m not sure what just happened, but I think my owner is in danger! We were sitting outside making hot dogs and then my dad just dropped to the ground.
My mom got really scared, so I started barking. I had no idea what to do except to keep barking! She grabbed her phone and pushed a few numbers, talked to some people, and then hung up.
Then this big box on wheels showed up and they took my dad away!
I need to chase this big box down and find out. Hey! Give me my dad back! He needs help, why are you taking him away from us?
They don’t seem to be slowing down, but I’m not going to stop chasing them. I have to get my dad back, we need to finish the barbecue!
I’m sure by now that one of the squirrels has stolen the corn on the cob. Man, dad is going to be so mad at me.
I finally caught up to the big box on wheels! It is making a really loud sound, and it makes me want to bork. But I don’t have time for borking right now because I have a dad that I need to catch up to.
I wonder where they are taking him? My mom said something about a hospital… I think that’s like a vet for hoomans?
Oh no! I definitely have to save him now! They can’t take him to the vet, the vet is the worst place to be!
Phew, finally they stopped! I really need some water and a snack, I hope they have something in the big box for me.
Okay, it is time to focus. I am trying to tell them that they cannot take my dad to the vet because it’s just too dangerous. They don’t seem to be listening to me though!
I need to stay with dad; I’m his best friend! Here I go into the ambulance to keep him company at the hospital overnight.
