Do you know how they say cats and dogs don’t like each other? Well, for me, that couldn’t be further from the truth!
The only complaint I have about cats is that they don’t like to play in the same way that I do. I have one kitty sister and she gets a little annoyed with me sometimes.
In my defense, I feel like the only thing she does is sleep! Why wouldn’t she want to play a game from time to time? I’m going to give it a shot and see if I can get her to play with me again.
Alright, let’s play “run in circles”, kitty! This one is my favorite game! You just run around and chase your tail!
Okay, maybe you can’t figure out this game. It’s okay, not everyone is as good at this game as I am.
Do you want to play “fight like cats and dogs”? We just wrestle and try to run each other over! It’s a good game, I promise you’ll like it!
Oh, ouch! Okay, you’re better at this game than I am apparently! Did you see that, mom? She just smacked me with her paw and those claws hurt.
I think I’ve decided to take a little break. Time to go lick my wounds and ask my mom why my kitty sister is so heckin’ boring sometimes. Or moody!
Even though I do love cats, my sister and I fight like, well, like cats and dogs! I try not to get too angry at her when she swats at me. I used to get upset over it, but my hoomans told me that it’s just a natural instinct.
They told me cats are natural hunters, so she does that because her instincts tell her that I’m prey (which, if you think about it, is kind of scary!). She isn’t doing it to be mean to me.
Anyway, I asked my mom why she’s so boring and she told me there’s a good, scientific reason behind it. Cats actually sleep 16 to 20 hours a day, so maybe she just needs a nap!
I think I’m just going to stay over here for now and hang out with my mom. If I’m a good boi, she will get me some extra puppy snacks.
Once I am done hanging out over here, I’ll go back to miss kitty and see if she wants to play again. I just hope she keeps the claws away this time!
