Bulldog Channeling His Inner Cowboy on Rocking Horse

When it comes to country livin’ I feel like the heelers and other cattle dogs always steal the show. What about us bulldogs that have a love for the wild west?

Luckily, my parents figured out that I love the country lifestyle, so they got me a few things to help me express myself. My favorite toy is my rocking horse!

Every morning I wake up and my mom helps me get dressed in my finest rodeo gear. My bandana, vest, and cowdog hat are the staples in my wardrobe.

I walk outside and take in the morning air, listen to the birds’ chirp, and I saddle my horse to ride!

I feel most free when I’m rocking on my horse. It’s like I’m on top of the world and I can see everything from up here!

Over yonder is Billy the Beagle. He’s a good guy, but I see he still hasn’t learned to poop in his own yard.

And down the street is Dani the Doberman! He may look intimidating, but don’t let that fool you. He’s got a heart the size of Texas and he was the first person to welcome me to the neighborhood.

One of the nice things about playing country dog is that everyone loves to stop and wave. We’re just really good neighbors like that.

Oh no… here comes Chelsea the Chiuahaha. We went on a date down at the holler, but she didn’t seem to have a good time. She mostly sat there and barked at all of the animals walking by, so I didn’t ask her out again. Country dogs are supposed to be friendly, and that didn’t seem very welcoming.

Now I’m galloping off into the sunrise. I’ve got a bone to pick with one of those squirrels who keeps eating the vegetables from my mom’s garden. While I try to be kind and welcoming to all of the critters ’round these parts, I can’t tolerate any of them hurting my family’s way of life.

Well, I’ve taken care of that squirrel, so it’s time to head back home. Mom has breakfast waiting for me and I’m sure she’ll be worried if I’m not back on time. I can’t wait to tell her that I put that pesky squirrel in his place. It’s been a long time coming for that one!

Looks like mom broke out the good kibble this morning, which means I need to get out of these clothes and wash up!
